Before applying for coverage through UnitedHealthcare, you’ll want to make sure your doctors and hospitals participate in their provider network.

When searching for providers, UnitedHealth One has two different networks to choose from, depending on whether you purchase an exchange or non-exchange plan. You’ll need to enter your zip code and then hit enter.

• UnitedHealthcare Compass HMO: This network is available for plans purchased through the Marketplace (on exchange) and outside the Marketplace (off exchange) in urban areas only.
• UnitedHealthcare Choice PPO: This network is available for plans purchased outside the Marketplace (off exchange) in rural areas only.
