Per requirements in Section 202 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (CAA), all agents/brokers are required to disclose compensation related to group health plans. To comply with this requirement, we are providing a document describing our compensation along with various carrier commission/bonus schedules.
JME Broker Compensation disclosure form
2022 BCBSTX Group Commission schedule in effect since 11.01.2018
2022 Baylor Scott and White Agent Commission Schedules
2022 Humana commission and bonus schedules (reduced to Texas)
2022 UHC commission schedules and bonus programs
2022 BCBSTX Bounce Back Bonus fully insured group 1-500 new group sales
Compensation for our services is paid by the insurance carrier that provides your policy. For small group plans, the commission is set and is the same for every agent/broker in the 1-50 market. For groups over 50, the carriers set a standard but allow for negotiation. Most of our agency’s business is with small groups and thus has a set amount.
Please review the above documents, and if you have any questions you can email Susan Murray at email@example.com or call her at 972.245.0266 ext. 222.
You can sign the disclosure document and return it by email. If you do not return the signed document within 15 business days of the email we sent to you, it will be deemed that the documents were received and accepted by you as per the guidelines in Section 202.
We appreciate your business and hope you have a wonderful 2022.
