Dear :

Medicare allows for an “Open enrollment” period in which you may change your current Part D selection. The changes selected will become effective each January 1 following the enrollment period which takes affect every year beginning 10/15 and ending on 12/7.

During this period you can choose a new drug plan or if you do NOT elect a change, you current plan will automatically renew. If your current plan is being discontinued, you will need to elect another plan for the coming year. You should review your options to insure you have the best plan based on your current prescriptions and the revised drug formulary of each Part D Carrier. Please follow the instructions below to review your options:

The options available are to call 1.800.Medicare to speak with someone about Part D or click on the link below to go to the Medicare website to review options and applying online for the Part D plan which best suits your needs. If you choose to go to the website, you will be required to create a log in by creating a username and password.

By going to the Medicare website, you can select the lowest cost plans, or those that have pharmacies closest to you, etc. Also on this site, Medicare calculates your annual premium, prescription costs (deductible if applicable/copays/coverage gap if applicable to you) based on the various carriers’ premium, copays and formulary.

Also by going to the Medicare site, you will be able to do a personalized search. What this means to you, is that you can enter your current prescriptions, and save the list so you can update at the next open enrollment.

If you have any questions, you should call 1.800.MEDICARE and tell them you have questions about Part D.

Our agency does not market Medicare Part D plans, but provides this information to you as a service only.

Thank you so much for doing business with us.
