This Act signed into law February 17, 2009 expanded COBRA and State Continuation in ways that impact employers.  The Act offers assistance-eligible individuals a 65 percent subsidy of their required COBRA or State Continuation (varies by State) premiums starting March 1, 2009.

As an employer you have received notices from your health insurance carrier along with posted information at your employer log-in web site with your carrier.  These notices and posted information will continue to be the main method of communication by the carriers.
